CT Technologist - Radiology

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Operate specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images of human anatomy.
• Assist radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in diagnosing diseases and disorders.
• Perform injection procedures and assist in training students and technologists.
• Maintain timeliness, accuracy, proficiency, efficiency, and safety during all duties.
• Work closely with patients to ensure understanding and comfort during procedures.

Work Schedule

• Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
• Weekend: Backup call as scheduled in rotation
• Call: Backup call from 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM as scheduled in rotation

Unit Information

• Number of beds: 500
• Patient types: Outpatient, Inpatient, Emergency Department (ED)
• Equipment: Siemens and Philips CT scanners
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Indiana
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification
• ARRT (CT) certification

• Charcoal grey scrub top and bottom
• Non-porous shoes

• No prior travel experience explicitly required
