Description
CT Technologist - Radiology
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Overview
- Operate specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images of human anatomy.
- Assist radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in diagnosing diseases and disorders.
- Perform injection procedures and assist in training students and technologists.
- Maintain timeliness, accuracy, proficiency, efficiency, and safety during all duties.
- Work closely with patients to ensure understanding and comfort during procedures.
Work Schedule
- Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Weekend: Backup call as scheduled in rotation
- Call: Backup call from 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM as scheduled in rotation
Unit Information
- Number of beds: 500
- Patient types: Outpatient, Inpatient, Emergency Department (ED)
- Equipment: Siemens and Philips CT scanners
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Indiana
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- ARRT (CT) certification
