Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Michigan
• Med Surg (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Required Documents

• Work history
• Skills checklist current within 1 year, relevant to the specialty
• 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last 2 years

Job Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing care according to the physician-authorized plan of care and nursing standards
• Provide direct resident care, including medication administration, treatments, call lights, transfers, and responding to alarms
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and help update the care plan with the team
• Process physician/provider orders and complete ordered care accurately and on time
• Follow up on medication changes and order clarifications
