Job Description
- Position in the HVTI-Stepdown Float Pool at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus.
- Shifts: Rotating Day/Night shifts (3x12's) from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Typically consists of 2 weeks of days followed by 2 weeks of nights.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Minimum of 1.5 years of recent Cardiac Stepdown experience, with experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Travelers must work at least every other holiday.
- A government-issued photo ID is required while on assignment.
- Various health documents and vaccinations are required, including:
- Physical Exam
- Fit Mask
- Tdap vaccine
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
- Drug Testing
- Flu Vaccine or Medical/Religious Exemption during flu season
- Background check required prior to start of assignment.
- References: 2 references required from employment within the past year.
Competencies
- Unit-specific competency exam required within 12 months of start, updated annually.
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam required.
Onboarding Process
- Candidates must complete online training modules prior to clearance to start.
- Fingerprinting required within 12 months of start, updated annually.
