Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Columbus, Ohio
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Float required within OSU
- Every other weekend: Friday and Saturday nights
- First-time travelers accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Previous telemetry experience
- Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips
- Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
Preferred
- 1st time travelers
Unit Details
- PCU nights
- Patients include active oncology diagnosis/treatment, oncology workup, history of cancer, and patients admitted for other reasons such as surgical procedures, COPD, sepsis, abnormal labs, and pneumonia
- Unit is a corrections unit for Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections inmates
- Unit is locked and requires access from a Corrections Officer to enter

- Candidates with only 1 year of experience will not receive auto offers and will need manager review
- Parking permits are available, with monthly and annual options at additional cost
