Role Overview

• Travel/Contract position in Radiology / Cardiology
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:30
• 40 hours per week
• 24-week contract
• Daily caseload: 15 patients in the department
• First-timers accepted: No
• Locals accepted: No, within 100-mile radius
• Pending state license accepted: Yes

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Minnesota
• Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI
• ARRT
• Scrub experience required
• C-Arm Operations
• Must be able to scrub stenting and drive the table

• Peripheral angiograms
• Stents
• PFO
• ASD
• Athrectomy
• CSI
• Rotablade

Schedule / Call / Float

• Weekend call every 3rd weekend with off-site 30-minute response time
• On-call: 1–2 overnights, then every 3–4 weekend
• Does not float within scope to meet facility needs
• Floats to Mercy Hospital - Unity campus as needed
• Block scheduling not accommodated
• RTO ideally no more than 5 days

Compliance / Pre-Start Items

• Criminal background check required within 1 year of start date
• EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 1 year of start
• HHS/OIG required within 1 year of start
• Physical exam within 12 months prior to start
• Tdap required for all candidates
• Negative TB or chest X-ray required
• Measles, mumps, and rubella immunity required
• Hepatitis B immunity or declination required
• Varicella immunity required
• Drug testing required within 1 year of start
• RespSafety clearance required
• Skills checklist required annually
