Job Details

• Schedule: Weekend Block Schedule (Friday - Sunday)
• Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
• Minimum Specialty Experience: 1 year (1st time travelers accepted)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• General Skills:

  • CT Tech experience with Abdomen, Chest, Head & Neck with Contrast
• Systems Used: Epic, Pyxis, GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba
• Call Requirements: Rotation
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend unless otherwise specified
• Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days
• Holiday Work:

  • If 1 major holiday falls during assignment, expected to work it
  • If 2 major holidays fall, expected to work both
  • If 3 major holidays fall, expected to work 2 of them
• Orientation: Number of Non-Billable Orientation hours depends on contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8 weeks)
• Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; delays result in 2-week pushback due to bi-weekly orientation schedule

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Photo ID: Driver’s License or State ID required
• Background Check: Must be completed within 30 days prior to start, including:

  • Perm and Non-Perm County checks
  • National Sex Offender and Nationwide Criminal Search
  • FACIS 3
  • Education verification of related degree
• Education Verification: Required; can be pending at start with proof it is in process (due within 30 days post start)
• State License: Must be licensed by the State of Georgia (if applicable)
• Drug Testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start; cannot start with results pending
• Health Documents:

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
  • TB Questionnaire (updated annually)
  • Immunizations or positive titers for:

    • Rubeola (Measles)
    • Mumps
    • Rubella
    • Hepatitis B (series, titer, or signed declination)
    • Varicella
  • Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season (Nov 1 - Mar 31)
• References: Two clinical references required
• Skills Checklist: Updated within last 12 months
• Work History Verification: Verification of most recent employer required; can be pending at start with proof it is in process

Competency Exams & Additional Requirements

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam: Required for RNs and LVNs (not required for this specialty)
• Color Blind Testing: Required for all candidates; alternative assessment available if needed
• Competency Exam: Required for Nursing and Allied by Aya only (not required for this specialty)
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam: Not specified for this role
• Facility Policies: Candidates must review and sign Code of Conduct and Dress/Professional Appearance Policy prior to start
