PCU Float

Role Overview

Travel/Contract RN position in Augusta, Georgia.
Float pool assignment covering MS, MS/Tele, and PCU units within the hospital.
Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics.
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00.
36 hours per week.
Contract length: 17 weeks.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience).
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year.
Med Surg experience.
Float experience.
Experience with Epic.
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
NIHSS.
Must be cleared for float units, ratios, and scheduling flexibility.
Must be able to float to all MS, MS/Tele, and PCU units within the hospital.
Every other weekend availability.
Full compliance required before start.
Locals accepted.

Preferred

1st timers are accepted.

Work Setting Details

Ratios: 1:4–5 in PCU; 1:5–6 in MS and MS/Tele.
No call required.
Scrub color: Navy Blue.
Maximum RTO: 7 days.
Major holidays may be required depending on assignment dates.
