Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Saint Cloud, Minnesota.
• 13-week assignment.
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30.
• Every other weekend rotation and rotating holidays.
• On-call requirements are to be determined by the unit’s need.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
• Locals are not accepted; candidates cannot live within 25 miles of the facility.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
• Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience.
• Must include proof of date submitted if the license is pending.
• Use of Rapid Response Teams is required.

Unit Details

• 45-bed Neuroscience Spine Unit.
• 8 beds are the Neuro Progressive Care Unit (NPCU), a step-down unit.
• Team nursing model in the general Neuroscience Spine unit.
• Primary nurse model in the NPCU.
• Ceiling lifts in 20 patient rooms.
• NPCU monitoring includes ICP Monitoring, ART Line Monitoring, and Cardiac Monitoring.
• Remote Cardiac Monitoring is available in all patient rooms.
• Continuous EEG Monitoring is available.
• Lumbar Drainage System capabilities.

Float Scope

• May float to other like units, including surgical care, medical units, and inpatient rehab units.

• Guaranteed hours: contracted hours.
• Charting system: Epic.
• Parking: free in any unrestricted space.
