PICU RN Travel Contract

Overview

• Location: Seattle, Washington
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
• PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ENT Surgery experience
• Orthopedics experience
• Preoperative experience

Clinical Details

• Pediatric critical care setting
• Floating may be required to NICU or other units within skill set
• Orientation is provided
• Every other weekend required

Relevant Experience

• Critical care experience
• Experience with pediatric critical care procedures and therapies, including breathing treatments, chest tube care, CPAP/BiPAP, high-frequency vents, oscillators, procedure sedation, RSI drugs, trach care, vents, blood and blood product administration, CVP, 12-lead EKG, drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, PICC/central lines, port access/care, syringe pumps, traction/halo/pin care, triple lumen catheter care, and wound vacs

Notes for Candidates

• Up to 3 days of requested time off may be accepted; anything more will be screened
• No holiday time off requested
• Perm staff from other non-Swedish Providence facilities may be eligible after a 3-month separation
