Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in Charlottesville, Virginia
13 weeks
Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
36 or 48 hours per week
26-bed acute care unit
Patient population is primarily General Surgery and Trauma; post-surgical patients make up 90% of the unit
Every other weekend and every other holiday
Must work 2 of the 3 winter holidays
Can approve 40 hours for time off
Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed
Must adhere to float policy

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
Experience with Epic

Unit Details

All rooms are capable of cardiac monitoring, capnography or end-tidal CO2 monitoring, and continuous pulse oximetry
