Overview
- Travel/Contract role in New Orleans, Louisiana
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 12 weeks
- LTAC setting
- Backfill role
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with TPN
- Experience with wound care
- Experience with drain management
- Experience with foley catheter care
- Experience with narcotic administration
- Experience with Epic
Experience / Skills
- Unit accepts first-time travelers
- LTAC experience is not required
- Block scheduling considered
- Special procedures include TPN, wound care, drain, foley, and narco admin
Additional Assignment Notes
- May be assigned to an Emergency Team during an emergency event and may be expected to remain at the facility or serve on the relief team until the event passes
