Overview

• Travel/Contract RN assignment in New Haven, Connecticut
• Start date: 10/23
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00-7:00
• 48 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Ratios: average 1:2 on days and nights
• First-timers accepted with Cardio thoracic ICU experience and/or critical care experience
• Every other weekend required
• Pending license accepted
• Guaranteed hours
• May float to other HVC ICUs
• RTO greater than 7 days requires approval

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Connecticut
• CTICU - Cardiothoracic Intensive Care (3 years of experience)
• CTICU - Cardiothoracic Intensive Care experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience working with Cardiac patients
• Experience with swan-ganz catheters

• COVID vaccination if received

Additional Compliance Items

• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit test within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Negative TB documentation or chest X-ray
• TB questionnaire, updated annually
• Drug screen within 12 months of start
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
• Color blind testing
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam within 12 months of start
• Skills checklist within 12 months of start
• Education verification of highest level of education
• Drivers license or state ID
• EPLS/GSA/SAM within 30 days of start
• HHS/OIG within 30 days of start
