Overview

• Location: Glen Burnie, Maryland

• Shift: Nights, 3x12 hours, 20:00–08:30
• Hours per week: 36
• Patient population: Adult to geriatrics
• Ratio: 1:3
• Weekends: Every other weekend required
• Holidays: Required as scheduled
• On-call: No pre-scheduled on-call

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• CPI

Role Expectations

• Must be able to float to ICU as needed
• Floating within the specialty and to lower-acuity areas as needed
• First-time travelers are accepted with strong IMC/ICU-level experience due to the unit’s high acuity

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID
• I-9 and E-Verify attestation
• Background check and required state/federal exclusion checks
• Employment application/resume completed within 30 days of start
• Two supervisory references within 1 year of start
• Work history verification for the previous 5 years
• Physical exam
• Drug screen
• TB screening
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption
• Required immunization/titer documentation
• Badge photo
• Facility onboarding documents and training modules before start
