CVICU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Arlington, Virginia
13-week assignment
Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 4x12s
Every other weekend
Start date is ASAP, depending on EPIC experience/training schedule

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
CVICU (2 years of experience)
CVICU experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
Cardiac Stepdown experience
Telemetry experience

Clinical Responsibilities

Must be able to float to regular ICU, CV stepdown, and/or a cardiac telemetry unit
May care for COVID patients while floating to ICU

Schedule Notes

If choosing 4x12s, overtime begins after 48 hours per week

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

Flu vaccination is required during flu season unless an approved medical or religious exemption is in place
Fit test within the last 12 months
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
Drug screen within 30 days of start
Proof of 2 clinical references
Government-issued photo ID
E-Verify proof or attestation
Background check and education verification
Completion of required pre-start forms, acknowledgements, and orientation materials
