Overview
- Location: New Haven, Connecticut

- Shift: Day, 4x9.5 hours, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Contract length: 13 weeks

Schedule
- Includes call responsibilities
- Weekend work is required
- Block scheduling is not available
- Guaranteed hours are included
- RTO over 7 days requires approval
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Connecticut
- OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Work Setting
- Short-term acute care
- Level I trauma center
Additional Notes
- Strong robotics, ENT, and neuro experience is noted
- On-site parking is available for $125/month

Pros
Always given very easy assignments. Their MICU is combined with the MICU stepdown so travelers were put in stepdown once a week but it’s a 1:3 ratio there and assignments were fair
Cons
Very large unit so hard to get to know everyone/find people to help sometimes
