MS/Tele Nurse

Overview

• Travel/contract registered nurse role in Lillington, North Carolina
• Short-term acute care setting
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 48 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• First-time travelers accepted
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within scope to like units, including another nearby facility if needed
• Local candidates are not accepted; 50-mile radius restriction applies
• Pending license is not accepted
• Block scheduling is not available

Unit Details

• Medical-surgical/telemetry unit
• Patient ratio: 1:5-6

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to return after a 1-year gap if previously worked as a traveler
• Assignment extensions are limited to 2 contracts total, with only 1 extension allowed before a 6-month gap is required to return
• Interview availability must be provided with submission

Compliance / Pre-Start Items

• Background check
• Education verification related to specialty
• Physical exam within 1 year
• Negative TB screening or chest X-ray within 1 year
• Tdap within the last 10 years
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
• Hepatitis B vaccine series, positive titer, or signed declination
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days
• Flu vaccine or approved exemption during flu season
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required

• On-call is not required
• Weekend requirement is every other weekend
