Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Manchester, New Hampshire
- Night shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 48 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- No Thanksgiving RTO
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Hampshire
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS
- MAB
- NIHSS
- CPI
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
Unit / Clinical Details
- Assigned to the ED unit to care for inpatient/CICU level holds in the ED
- May also care for overflow patients from medical, surgical, trauma, oncology, and orthopedic areas
- Common diagnoses include chest pain, syncope, heart failure, sepsis, overdose, GI bleed, COPD, and pneumonia
- Must be able to manage and titrate drips
- Floating may include similar units
- Team nursing / helping hands approach
- Patient sitting may be required
Additional Notes
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
- Uses EPIC experience for first-time traveler eligibility
- On-site pass/fail basic dysrhythmia testing may apply depending on unit assignment
