Job Opportunity: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Norwalk, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Every Other Week rotation)
Hours: 36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours)

Job Description

• Provide nursing care on a Medical-Surgical unit during night shifts.
• Cerner electronic health record experience is required.
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply.
• Immediate start dates available.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio.
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.

Additional Requirements

• Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency testing as applicable.
• Completion of facility-specific forms including computer access and temporary staff information forms prior to start.
• Employment application/resume required.
• Performance evaluations required if previously worked with the facility for over 1 year.
• Must comply with all onboarding and credentialing requirements as outlined by the facility.

Notes

• Prior travel experience is not required; first-time travelers are accepted.
• Night shift rotation is every other week (EOW).
• Cerner EHR experience is mandatory.
