Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Tech

Location: Mount Vernon, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (5 days a week, 40 hours/week)

Call: Not required
Floating: As needed within scope

Job Requirements

• Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist within the last year
• Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (Nuclear MED or MNTCB)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Washington Food Handler Certification

Facility & Compliance Requirements

• Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
• Education verification required; US equivalency documentation if education completed out of state
• Photo for badge required
• Completion of confidentiality, crime disclosure, conflict of interest, and compliance documents
• 2 professional references completed within 1 year of start

Health & Safety Requirements

• Tdap vaccine or signed declination
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframes
• Annual TB questionnaire completion
• Immunizations or positive titers for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Varicella
  • Hepatitis B (3 doses or signed declination)
• 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31); mask required if declined

• Locals are allowed to apply
• First-time travelers accepted
• Floating may be required within the scope of practice
• No radius restrictions for travel distance
• Suicide prevention training required if working in Washington with a multi-state license (for RNs/LVNs only; not applicable here)
