Shift Details

• Night shift, 3 shifts per week
• 12 hours per shift (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Total 36 hours per week

Unit Description

• Medical/Surgical Orthopedic Bariatrics
• Patient ratio approximately 1:7-8
• Float required

Weekend Requirement

• Every other weekend or 2 weekends per month

Holiday Time Off Policy

• No time off during holidays or holiday weeks (including Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, and local spring/fall breaks)
• Holiday time off requests may be addressed onsite with manager after assignment start

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum of 1 year of telemetry nursing experience within the last year
• Proficient in EKG interpretation and telemetry monitoring

Certifications Summary (Must be valid and uploaded as actual certificates, not photos/screenshots)

• BLS (required)
• NIHSS (required)
• ACLS (preferred)
• Other certifications may be required depending on unit assignment (confirm with management)

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver's license or state ID (color and current)
• Photo for badge: passport style, solid background, no filters or facial piercings
• Utility bill or lease/mortgage statement in candidate’s name with address at least 75 miles from contracted facility
• Onboarding attestation and review of facility-specific documents required prior to start

Experience

• Must have recent required experience in Med/Surg nursing (specific years not stated, but recent experience is mandatory)

Notes

• Travelers requesting time off during holidays will not be accommodated prior to assignment start
• Floating between units is required
• Orientation offered bi-weekly

This position is ideal for experienced Med/Surg RNs comfortable with night shifts, floating, and working in a fast-paced orthopedic/bariatric environment. Compliance with extensive credentialing, immunization, and competency requirements is mandatory.
