Job Summary

Seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to work in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting. The position requires working 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with on-call and weekend call responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) certification or Certificate in Radiology Technology
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

Work Schedule

Background and Compliance Requirements

• Criminal background check with a 7-year search including specific Florida counties (Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach)
• Education verification of highest degree earned
• Fingerprinting: Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance required prior to start
• Drug screening: 10-panel urine drug test within 45 days of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Immunizations and health screenings required:

  • TB test or chest X-ray within past 12 months
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or vaccination documentation
  • Hepatitis B: Positive titer or vaccination series or signed declination
  • Varicella: Positive titer or vaccination documentation or signed declination
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
  • COVID-19 vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions considered

Additional Notes

• Candidates living within Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Monroe counties are not eligible.
• Scrub color for ICU areas: white pants and blue top.
• Recent photo required for badge (plain white background, color photo, head to mid-chest, no group photos).
• Annual required education and compliance training must be completed.
