Job Opportunity: PT Aide

Location: Napa, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Work Monday to Friday, day shift (8:30 AM to 4:30 PM)
  • Scheduled to see 11-12 patients per day
  • Patient population includes orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric cases
  • Spanish speaking preferred

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in California
  • Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapy Assistant experience, including experience within the last year

Experience

Required Documents & Compliance

  • Valid government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
  • I9 attestation

  • Education verification as applicable
  • Employment application covering at least last 5 years
  • Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years (6 months for CNA or Medical Assistant in PCN region)
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, indicating ability to work
  • Drug screen (9 panel) within 12 months of start
  • Immunizations and health documents:
    • TDAP vaccine within 10 years or declination
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
    • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer or declination
    • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
    • Varicella vaccination or positive titer or declination
    • Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season or declination
    • COVID vaccination record preferred (declinations accepted)
  • Respiratory safety clearance for respirator use (travel only)
  • Fit mask test (travel only, updated annually)

Facility & Regional Requirements

  • May be required to float to other nearby facilities within reasonable distance
  • Completion of facility-specific and regional compliance modules annually via WorkRamp LMS platform
  • Badge photo required (passport style with neutral background)
  • Epic system training modules may be required depending on region and role
  • State-specific background checks and registry searches as applicable (e.g., Washington state requirements)
