Job Opportunity: Endoscopy Registered Nurse

Work Schedule

• Day shift: 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• No weekend requirement
• No on-call duties
• No floating outside scope of practice
• Block scheduling not accommodated
• Locals not accepted

Job Description

• Provide pre-operative assessments, intra-operative circulating, and post-operative recovery from anesthesia in the Endoscopy department
• Endoscopy technician experience is helpful
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Electronic Health Record system: EPIC required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
• Minimum 1 year of Endoscopy nursing experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS certification
• Experience with EPIC Electronic Health Record system
