Registered Nurse, Telemetry (Night Shift)
Location: Northampton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Job Summary
- Provide care to patients with critical or life-threatening illnesses on telemetry units.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic status.
- Administer prescribed cardiac medications and telemetry-approved drips.
- Recognize and assist patients in shock or with life-threatening complications.
- Assist with emergency and elective cardioversions and temporary pacemaker insertions.
- Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, collaborating on an interdisciplinary level.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 1 year of telemetry nursing experience within the last year
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
