Job Description
- Schedule: 36-hour day/night rotating shifts, every other week (EOW), every other holiday (EOH)
- Specialty: Oncology infusion nursing
- Required Experience:
- Minimum 2 years oncology infusion experience in an academic medical center (AMC)
- Minimum 1 year outpatient experience
- Minimum 1 year prior travel nursing experience required
- Skills:
- Strong IV and patient assessment skills
- Experience with complex gastrointestinal (GI) chemotherapy regimens
- Certification: Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 2 years of infusion experience, including infusion experience within the last year
- Oncology nursing experience
- At least 1 year of total travel nursing experience
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience in an outpatient setting
Additional Information
- Resume including last 7 years of work experience with city and state required for submission
- Candidate submission coversheet required for initial assignment
- Respirator medical clearance attestation required if fit testing is needed
- Positive TB test requires negative chest x-ray documentation
- No religious or medical exemptions allowed for fit testing or influenza vaccine
