Overview

Location: West Burlington, Iowa
Employment type: Long-term assignment
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Hours: 24 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

Provides nursing care in a Medical Care Unit that serves less acute patients, including those awaiting placement to long-term care.
The unit is shared with Inpatient Rehab, and the nurse may float between both units.
Patient populations include geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, telemetry, and psychiatric patients.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg experience with 2 years of experience
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
CPI/MOAB
Driver's License
Experience with Epic
Two professional references, including one supervisor reference

Preferred Qualifications

Telemetry experience

Additional Notes

May occasionally be placed on call during low census periods.
If called in, must be able to arrive on-site within one hour.
