Overview

• Location: Austin, Texas
• Employment type: Long-term assignment
• Contract length: 26 weeks
• Shift: 06:30 - 15:00

Role Highlights

• Operating room experience required in orthopedics, neuro/spine, burns, general surgery, GYN, urology, plastics, robotics, vascular, kidney transplant, and trauma
• Call required on rotation
• No overnight call
• One major and one minor holiday assigned

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist with 2 years of experience
• Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Driver's License

Onboarding / Compliance Requirements

• Specialty exam required before first assignment
• Core competencies assessment required within one year of start
• Surgical technologist onboarding education attestation required before clearance
• Skills checklist required within one year of start
• Education verification required within 90 days of start
• Employment verification for the past seven years required
• Criminal background check required
• EPLS check required
• 12-panel drug screen required within 30 days of start
• Driver’s license or state ID required
• Health statement required
• MMR documentation required
• Hepatitis B documentation required
• Varicella documentation required
• Tdap required
• TB screening required
• Fit test required
• Assignment confirmation required
• Signed assignment agreement required

Additional Notes

• No declinations accepted for MMR, Varicella, or Tdap where specified
• If housing is available, it is at additional cost
