Job Opportunity: RN Labor and Delivery

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Responsibilities include managing an assigned group of patients, documenting patient responses, assisting physicians with examinations and minor procedures, monitoring physiological data, administering medications and IV infusions, delivering competent patient care, communicating care plans with patients and families, and delegating tasks to support staff.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
At least 2 years of travel nursing experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients and trauma experience

Additional Information

Must be able to assume responsibility for assigned patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare team members.
Prior travel experience is not specified as required for this position.
