Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kentucky
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

• BSN
• Previous nursing experience

Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
• Provide direct patient care, including rounds, treatments, and patient/family education
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, and discharge teaching
• Delegate and oversee patient care tasks appropriately
• Participate in quality improvement activities and core measures
• Communicate and collaborate with the care team and patients/families
