Job Overview

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour shifts
Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma
Neuro ICU (1 year of experience)
Neuro ICU experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Role Summary

Provides nursing care in a hospital setting for patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
Responsible for an assigned group of patients
Documents patient responses and changes in physician orders
Assists with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatment
Monitors patient physiological data and intervenes when necessary
Administers medication and manages intravenous infusions and blood products
Communicates care plans and discharge information with patients and families
Makes referrals for patient care needs and delegates tasks to support staff
