Registered Nurse - General Surgery

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Unit Description

Fast-paced, 39-bed unit with all-private rooms
Provides specialized care for patients undergoing general surgery, ENT procedures, and medical overflow
Offers a solid clinical foundation in medical-surgical nursing
Team-oriented and supportive environment suitable for both experienced nurses and new graduates

Work Schedule

3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (3x12s)
Day shifts
Every third weekend and holiday commitments required
Floating to other units required
Medical/Surgical experience required

Required Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Ohio
Knowledge and skills to provide age- and culturally-specific patient care and education
Ability to communicate effectively with peers using appropriate channels while maintaining confidentiality
Commitment to continuing professional growth and maintaining competence
Ability to accept and implement change and work effectively in a culturally diverse setting

Specialty Experience

Medical/Surgical nursing experience required

Additional Information

Adherence to the American Nursing Association (ANA) code of ethics and Ohio Nurse Practice Act
