Job info

Ultrasound Technologist w/Vascular - Days

  • Location: North Providence, Rhode Island
  • Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging
  • Employment Type: Contract
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm
  • Call: 1 week and weekend per month (call/weekends/holidays)
  • Unit: Hospital imaging serving inpatient, outpatient, and ED patients

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, including ultrasound technologist experience within the last year
  • Experience Setting: Hospital setting
  • Certifications: ARDMS RDMS in Abdomen and OB/GYN; current BLS; RVT
  • Independent hospital experience with: abdominal, pelvic/transvaginal, renal, and scrotal ultrasound
  • Clinical skill: Ability to recognize urgent findings and promptly notify the interpreting provider

Cons

Ratio 1:6 and heavy psych so average night can be heavy.
