Operating Room Cardiac Surgery Nurse (RN) - Contract

Location: Corvallis, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days/Varied, rotating weekends
Hours per Week: 40

Job Description

Provide cardiac care to surgical and procedural sedation patients across all age groups: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly.
Collaborate with multiple provider specialties to care for patients being admitted or discharged the same day.
Work primarily in the Operating Room (OR) setting.

Required Qualifications

Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license at time of application.
Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification.
AHA ACLS certification.
Minimum 2 years experience in ICU, PCU, and/or medical-surgical acute care setting.
At least 1 year experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR or completion of an approved didactic pre-operative nursing class.
Preferred but not required:
- 1 year CVOR/Open Heart experience.
- ICU experience.
- Scrubbing experience.

Additional Information

Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
