RN - MSU/PCU Nights

Job Overview

• Contract RN position in Clarkston, Washington
• Night shift
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (3 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg experience

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient education using appropriate teaching methods
• Support patient safety through preventative measures and correct restraint use
• Operate equipment safely in PCU, Telemetry, and MedSurg areas
• Follow infection control, isolation, and standard precautions procedures
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and complete physician orders in a timely manner
• Give complete shift reports and communicate clearly with other departments
• Report critical lab values promptly according to policy
• Maintain and restock emergency carts, room supplies, and general supplies

• Candidate should be willing to work through the upcoming holiday season with minimal time off
