Location: Bakersfield, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule:
- 8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- No block scheduling
- Rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM
- Rotating weekend and holiday on-call duties
Department Info:
- 1 scanner/room
- May be floated to a nearby location (~6.5 miles away)
- Common imaging/studies: Cardiac, SPECT, bone scan, bleed studies, gastric emptying
- Average scans per day: 5-10
- Equipment used: GE scanner
- EMR/PACS systems: Radnet & Merge Unity
- Radiologist available in-house
- No IV starts required
- Scrub color: Teal (dayshift)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in California (CA NMTL)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Additional Notes
- No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) used in the department
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
