Up to every other weekend

Unit Details

Progressive care / step-down setting
Approximate unit size: 24 beds
Patient ratio varies by acuity, approximately 1:3 to 1:4
Patient population includes dysrhythmias, cardiopulmonary conditions, sepsis, high-flow oxygen needs, and behavioral patients needing IV drip medications

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Stepdown (2 years of experience)
Stepdown experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Job Details

1 week of orientation
Automated charting
High-throughput unit
Unit educator works closely with staff
Housing is available (at additional cost)
