Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position

Location: Northport, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work hours: 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday
• One weekend required per month; holidays as required
• Work setting: Inpatient and acute care units
• Must be willing to float to different units
• Patient population includes geriatric, neurological, stroke, and amputation patients
• Responsibilities include completing evaluations, formulating and collaborating on care plans, performing therapeutic interventions, patient/family education, and documentation

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Alabama
• Minimum of 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy

• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
