Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Position

Unit and Work Environment

• Facility uses Meditech documentation system.
• Floating policy: Floating as needed.
• Shift details: Weekend shifts every other weekend or as discussed during the interview.
• Call requirements: To be discussed during the interview.
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Texas
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience working with adult patients
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, NBRC

Unit Guidelines and Policies

• Dress code:

  • Scrubs required (specific color not stated).
  • Nails must be clean and healthy; no artificial nails, gel, or next-generation enhancements.
  • Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer. No extreme styles or colors.
  • Facial hair (beards, mustaches, sideburns) must be clean and neatly trimmed.
  • Tattoos should be covered whenever possible; exceptions addressed individually.
  • Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited (e.g., nose rings, tongue rings).

• Attendance policy: Company-wide attendance policy applies.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced or specialty certifications and experience with specific procedures on the unit are preferred but not mandatory.
