- Patient Ratios: Variable based on acuity
- Staffing: Typically 2 RNs and 1 surgical tech

- Documentation System: EPIC
- Scheduling: As needed
- Floating Policy: May be floated when census is low
- Patient Experience Focus: OB/GYN
Procedures Performed
- Vaginal deliveries
- C-sections
- Dilation & Evacuation (D&E)
- Dilation & Curettage (D&C)
- Tubal ligation
- Vaginal repair
- Hysterectomy
Required Qualifications
- OB Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- Certified Surgical Technologist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Additional Information
- Dress Code: Scrubs provided
- Advanced skills in NRP are needed
- May be floated to other units as needed
