Job Overview

Travel RN position in Birmingham, Alabama
13-week contract
36 hours per week
Night shift: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
Every other weekend required
No call required
Float as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alabama
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Oncology (2 years of experience)
Oncology experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Med Surg experience

Preferred Experience

Acute care experience

Unit Details

Oncology unit
18 beds
Typical patient ratio: 6:1
Patient population includes oncology, palliative, post-op bariatric, and Med/Surg overflow

Work Environment

Uses Epic
Basic equipment includes computer, IV pump, and vital sign machine
Navy scrubs required
Only scrubs and scrub jackets are allowed
