CVOR CST

Role Overview

Travel assignment for a CVOR CST in the OR Heart Team.
Shift: 7A–5P
Hours per week: 36

Unit Details

Market support across 3 campuses
15 CV type staff
Staffing pattern:
- Day shift: teams of 3 — 2 RNs and 1 CST Tech
- Night shift: teams of 2 — 1 RN and 1 CST Tech
Patient ratio: 1:1
Equipment: GE/Stryker
EMR: Meditech / CPN

Required Qualifications

Valid CVOR Technologist license in Colorado
CVOR Technologist (1 year of experience)
CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
BLS
DORA
NBSTA
CST
Experience working with Cardiac Surgery patients
Experience working with Post-Operative Open Heart patients
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Proficiency in open heart procedures

Preferred Qualifications

Prior Meditech experience
Prior experience traveling as a CVOR Tech in large trauma facilities
Cardiovascular experience

Procedures

CABG
AAA
TAVR
Valve replacements

Additional Details

Must float within 25 miles of the facility when needed
Call is required and will be discussed at interview
No weekends
