Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Overview

Travel assignment in Miami, Florida
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
Unit has 4 rooms with 1 patient per room
Patient ratio is 1:1
Maximum 15 days of call during critical periods

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
Cath Lab Tech Certification
Experience working with Neuro patients

Preferred

RCIS
ARRT

Unit Details

Staffed by 22 team members, including RNs and Techs
Day shift includes a director, manager, and a minimum of 3 staff members per room
Night shift uses an on-call team, with 4 staff members on STEMI call
Equipment includes all GE rooms
Documentation systems: Meditech and MacLab

Pros

I worked in the Respiratory department. The Respiratory manager Alex was a fantastic woman. She does all the on boarding education and she’s your number one person to call for any clinical information scheduling information. She was fantastic.

They need to upgrade their RT equipment and their charting system
