RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Overview

Travel RN role in Santa Fe, New Mexico
Full-time assignment
Shift: 7AM - 5PM
Start: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks
On call required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Mexico
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule / On Call

1-2 weekends per month
8-10 days per month on call

Unit / Role Details

Cardiac Cath Lab RN responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care for the assigned unit
Uses EPIC
Hospital scrubs provided

Responsibilities

Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments
Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized plans of care
Provides patient and family education and discharge planning
Performs Point of Care testing
Coordinates team assignments and supports unit workflow
Participates in orientation of new staff and students
Supports patient satisfaction, safety, and unit goals
