Role

Travel Allied role in Ultrasound.

Location

Manchester, New Hampshire
Unit based on Level A Radiology
4 ultrasound rooms

Required Qualifications

Valid Ultrasound Technologist license in New Hampshire
Ultrasound Technologist (2 years of experience)
Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
BLS
RDMS
Experience in a(n) Acute Care or Hospital setting
Vascular Sonographer experience
Ob/Gyn Sonographer experience

Preferred Qualifications

RVT
OB-GYN
AB
Experience in the OR and with ultrasound procedures
Wide array of exposure to various types of ultrasound
1 year of experience beyond education

Unit Details

14 staff
Day shift: 4 sonographers plus supervisor
Second shift: 1 sonographer after 7:30p
Night shift: 1 sonographer
Patient load: 8-10 in an 8 hour shift
Equipment: Siemens Acuson S200 and GE Logiq E10
EMR: Allscripts
PACS: InteleRad
Patient population: pedi to geriatric

Typical Procedures

Thoras
Paras
FNAs of thyroids, parotids, and lymph nodes
Soft tissue masses or lymph node BXs
Liver and renal BXs
Drainages of abscesses, cysts, hematomas, and gallbladders
Thrombin injections
OR breast needle placements
Carotids
D&Cs
Prostate BXs

Floating Scope

Opportunities for extra shifts within the department
Breast ultrasound opportunities may be available

Schedule

Monday to Thursday
No call
Weekends covered by weekend position staff

Other Notes

Must adhere to attendance and PTO request policies
All exam protocols must be followed
