Travel RN - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Naples, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (8:30 AM - 9:00 PM)

Job Description

Provide nursing care in the Operating Room as part of the surgical team.
Collaborate with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, OR Technicians, and other staff.
Follow State Nurse Practice Act, AORN guidelines, regulatory standards, physician orders, and hospital policies.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring availability of supplies and timeliness of surgical cases
- Communicating with patient families
- Updating physician preference cards
- Scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgeries
- Supervising personnel delivering patient care
Expectation to float between campuses as needed.

Requirements

Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
Minimum 2 years of experience with strengths in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, and Robotics
CNOR certification preferred

Additional Information

The role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in patient care within the OR.
