Location: Lafayette, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel Contract

Position Details

Role: Sonographer

Shift:
- Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Monday: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
Weekend Shifts: Yes (Sat, Sun, Mon)
Call Requirements: None
Required Certifications: ARDMS, BLS
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
Float Requirements: None

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 225
Patient Ratios:
- Days: 2 techs
- Evenings, Nights, Weekends: 1 tech (24/7 coverage)
Equipment: Philips EPIQ Elite Ultrasound machines
EMR System: EPIC

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience with valid ARDMS license
Ultrasound experience in pediatric, OB/GYN, general, upper/lower venous, and vascular imaging
Experience with Philips EPIQ ultrasound systems is a plus

Inpatient (INPT)
Outpatient (OP)
Emergency Department (ED)

Proficient sonographer
Motivated to work in a team environment
Able to complete requested imaging exams in a timely manner
Willing to fill in various shifts if staffing issues arise

Scrubs: Charcoal gray

Reporting Location

Radiology Department, 1701 S Creasy Lane, enter through the NORTH entrance
