MRI Tech Travel Opportunity

Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Travel

Job Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
BLS certification required
Registered in MR (mandatory)
Preferred skills:
- GE MR experience (1.5T and 3T)
- Experience with Meditech and Centricity systems

Schedule

Friday to Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (night shift)

Contract Length

13 weeks

Unit Information

MRI Radiology Department
220-bed facility
Staff: 3 full-time and 3 PRN MRI techs
Equipment: GE 1.5T and GE 3T MRI machines
Typical procedures: All routine MR exams

Work Environment

Team-oriented, flexible, and reliable personality preferred
Dress code: Blue scrubs
Facility is ACR accredited in MR and Breast MR

providers are very responsive, closed ICU, teaching hospital with residents.

Cons

frequent floating, travelers float first, never core staff. heavy neuro focus in the icu. trach/vent peg/TF q2 turn. travelers don't get the fresh sick ones, moreso sick stable.
