Position Details

Specialty: Level 4 NICU
Role: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (Days, approximately 06:45 - 07:15)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Shifts: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Call Requirements: None

Number of Beds: 142
Patient Ratios: 6-8 patients per therapist
Patient Population: Premature infants

- High-Frequency Jet Ventilator (HFJV)
- High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilator (HFOV)
- Conventional ventilators
- Nitric oxide therapy
- Bubble CPAP (BCPAP)
- Heated High Flow Nasal Cannula (HHFNC)
- Long-Term Ventilator (LTV)
- Transport ventilators (T1, MR1)
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: EPIC

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
Minimum 2 years of Level 4 NICU experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Experience with High-Frequency Jet Ventilator (HFJV)
