Job Opportunity: RN - Tele (Travel)
Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM, every other weekend
Time Off: Up to 1 week pre-approved time off allowed
Floating: Yes, may be required to float to other units
Unit Type: Neuro Medsurg / Telemetry
Number of Beds: 24
Patient Acuity: Higher med-surg acuity including stroke, seizures, post-op neuro surgeries, level 2 trauma patients, level 1 trauma post-ICU care, DKA, renal failure, and general post-op care
Patient Ratio: 5:1 or 6:1
EMR System: Cerner
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Required Certifications
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- BLS
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience (neuro or med-surg preferred)
- Expertise in neuro assessments
- Critical thinking skills
- Drain management and post-surgical care
- Chest tube management
- Groin site management post interventional radiology
Additional Requirements
- Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
- Must attach required license and certifications with application
